Dr Shiva shankar challa, consultant in orthopaedics at Sri Deepti orthopaedic centre is an experienced hip and knee robotic joint replacement surgeon, who after completing his undergraduation in the reputed Kempegowda institute of medical sciences, Bangalore developed a keen interest towards trauma and orthopaedics so he went onto pursue his passion to complete his masters in orthopaedics after which he completed his senior residency in the prestigious Gandhi medical college and hospital, Hyderabad.

In his quest to follow evidence based practice his next journey involved becoming a Member of the royal college of surgeons (MRCS) , Edinburgh, United Kingdom which allowed him to get trained in world class facilities within the NHS across the north west of England as a part of his clinical rotations all while he was completing his Mch in hip and knee surgery.
